Uttam, Komati Happy Over Sonia Election As CPP Leader

Hyderabad, June 1 (Maxim News): TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy expressed their happiness over election of senior Sonia Gandhi as CPP leader.

Speaking to mediapersons at New Delhi after the conclusion of the meeting of the party MPs, they said both Sonia Gandhi and party president Rahul Gandhi guided them on how to respond on issues in Parliament.

Commenting on continuation of Rahul Gandhi as party president, Uttam Kumar Reddy made it clear that the Congress needed leadership of Rahul in such a trying times and added that Rahul Gandhi had worked hard for the victory of the party.

Replying to a question on GDP, Uttam Kumar Reddy said neither Prime Minister Narendra Modi nor his cabinet colleagues talk about falling GDP growth. He said the people of the country had begun to realize this fact and would teach a befitting lesson to the BJP.

MP K. Venkat Reddy said they would expose the BJP-led NDA government in Parliament on its false promises on job creation and falling GDP growth. He said the unemployment hit 40 year high in the country and added that Modi was least bothered about it. (Maxim News)
