War In Gaza Is Over: Ceasefire Agreement Comes Into Effect
Gaza/Internet/Hyderabad, Oct 10 (Maxim News): The two-year-long Israel-Hamas war has finally come to an end. It is known that Israel and the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas signed the first phase of the peace deal proposed by US President Donald Trump on Thursday. In this context, the latest ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas (Gaza Ceasefire) has come into effect.
The Israeli military announced this on Friday. It said that the ceasefire agreement came into effect at 12 noon today.
It said that the war in Gaza has ended with the ceasefire agreement coming into effect. It said that Israel is partially withdrawing its forces from Gaza. Both sides have begun preparations to release the hostages.
It is known that the war began with Hamas’s unexpected attack on Israel two years ago. On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched a lightning attack on Israel. Nearly 1,200 people were killed and more than 250 were taken hostage. More than 67,000 Palestinian civilians were killed in Israel’s attacks on Gaza in retaliation for the Hamas attack.
Thousands of homes were razed to the ground in the Israeli attacks, leaving millions of people homeless and living in tents. Thousands of people are starving. In this context, US President Donald Trump has come forward to end the war. To this end, he suggested a 20-point peace plan for peace in Gaza.
