We will give water from RDS to Gadwal farmers: Bandi Sanjay

Hyderabad, April 18 (Maxim News): State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today promised to give water to Gadwal and Alampur farmers from RDS project . He made this promise while addressing at Vemula village of Alampur Assembly constituency of Jogulamba Gadwal district on the fifth day of his ongoing Praja Sangrama padayatra .

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay targeted CM KCR and said that people were not believing the statements of politicians thanks to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He claimed that he was doing the padayatra to seek the votes of the people but to find out the problems faced by the people of the state. Stating that CM KCR had spent ₹1 lakh crores to provide the water facility to his farm house from 200 km long Kaleswaram Lift Irrigation Project, Bandi asked the CM as to why he failed to provide the water to the Alampur people from RDS project . He said that the farmers of the state were not doing the farming to make money and added that the farmers were facing problems .

He said that the farmers were suffering a lot due to spurious seeds. He said that CM KCR had not extended support to chilly farmers when they faced the insect problems. He alleged that KCR had also not provided compensation to the farmers who sustained losses . He claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi sanctioned 1.4 lakh houses to Telangana after becoming the PM and added that CM KCR did not give funds to the double bedroom scheme . He claimed that KCR ignored his promise to get the Sanction of another 2 lakh houses after the completion of the already sanctioned houses.

Party leaders DK Aruna , G. Krishna Reddy, Ramchandra Reddy, DK Snigdha Reddy, Gaddam Krishna Reddy and others took part in the padayatra. (Maxim News)
