Why Four Berths For Velamas, Six For Reddys And One For Madigas?, TPCC Asks CM
Hyderabad, Sept.11 (Maxim News): TPCC spokesperson Satish Madiga on Wednesday expressed his shock over allocation of four minister posts to Velama community, which constitutes one percent in population and six posts to Reddy community, which is 4 percent in population.
Stating that the Madiga community with 12 percent population in the State does not have any representation in the cabinet and demanded that the Chief Minister KCR to set right the issue. He also wondered how the Chief Minister could give one cabinet minister post to the SC community comprising Madiga and Mala communities constituting 17 percent in the population.
Satish Madiga said Madiga leaders would suffer huge loss as long as Madiga leaders from ruling party like Rajaiah were active in politics.
He urged the TRS MLAs from Madiga community to take the issue seriously and act responsibly. He also warned the Madiga MLAs that they would boycott them from the community if they extended support to the ruling party and the Chief Minister. He demanded that the Chief Minister provide due representation to the Madiga community in the cabinet soon. (Maxim News)
