Woman And Son Attacked By Unknown Assailants In Secunderabad

Hyderabad, Feb 6 (Maxim News): Unidentified persons attacked a woman and her son with sharp weapons at Mettuguda in Secunderabad on Thursday. A previous enmity is suspected to be the reason.

As per available information, the assailants who are believed to be known to the victims first picked up an argument with K.Renuka (55) and her son K.Yashwanth (35), a private employee. They then attacked the mother and son duo with a knife, injuring them.

They were shifted to the Gandhi Hospital for treatment and their condition is said to be stable.

The Chilkalguda police took up investigation and are probing all angles including a financial dispute and property issue in the family, The footage from the surveillance cameras in the surroundings of the crime spot is being examined to identify and nab the attackers. (Maxim News)
