World Wildlife Day celebrated at Nehru Zoological Park

Hyderabad, March 3 (Maxim News): World Wildlife Day celebrated here on Friday at Nehru zoological park, Hyderabad and to promote the importance of wildlife and education in children drawing and essay writing competitions were conducted to the children, about (05) schools and individuals who were among the visitors participated in the competitions. About 203 students participated in the above said competitions.

Dr. G. Chandrashekhar Reddy, CCF/Director, Zoo Parks, Telangana State and Ms. Shivani Dogra, Curator, Nehru Zoological Park, distributed the consolation prizes and prizes to the winners.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. G. Chandrashekhar Reddy, CCF/Director, Zoo Parks, Telangana said that, Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad is in the fore front in promoting the wildlife awareness programmes such as conducting programmes like Drawing and Essay writing competitions to children and visitor’s to create awareness and thanked all the participants for participating in the competitions and making this programme successful.

He congratulated to all the winners who won the prizes in the competitions.

The winner’s are as follows in:
Drawing: 1. Pravallika Reddy; 2. Nikita; and 3. Naga Sandeep.

Essay Writing: 1. Shubhasree Samal; 2. Vaishnavi; and 3. Nikhil.

All the winners belong to Aditya Talent High School, Near Budwel Railway Station, Hyderabad. (Maxim News)
