Yadagirigutta Temple Tank Death | Hyderabad, Oct. 22: A four-year-old girl from Hyderabad died after accidentally falling into the temple tank near Kalyana Katta in Yadagirigutta on Wednesday evening.
The girl, Shivalingam Aadhya, was visiting the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple with her family on October 21. The family had travelled from Badangpet in Saroornagar mandal of Rangareddy district.
According to police, Aadhya was playing near the tank steps while her father, Praveen Kumar, and other family members were bathing. She reportedly slipped and fell into the water.
Family members and others immediately pulled the child out and rushed her to AIIMS Bibinagar for treatment. However, doctors declared her dead.
Yadagirigutta Temple Tank Death Under Investigation
Yadagirigutta police registered a case following the incident. They arranged for a postmortem examination at the Government Hospital in Bhongir.
The girl’s body was handed over to her father on Thursday. According to the report, the family expressed no suspicion regarding her death.
