Yanamala Ridicules SIT Against Previous TDP Govt

Amaravathi, Feb.23 (Maxim News): Main Opposition TDP leader of Andhra Pradesh Yanamala Ramakrishnudu ridiculed that no where in world did Special investigation team (SIT) was formed to investigate into the five-year rule of an elected government.

Speaking to mediapersons, Yanamala alleged that the ruling YSRCP had hatched conspiracies to divert the attention of the people of the State from the ongoing trial of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy by the courts concerned in 11 cases filed against him. He said the trial of Jagan Mohan Reddy in criminal court was nearing completion and the YSRCP leaders were struggling to divert the attention of the people.

Pointing out that the State government had constituted three SITs, six committees and a cabinet sub-committee on the TDP rule during the last nine months of its rule, Yanamala said the State government was not able to prove even a single allegation against the previous government. He claimed that the fresh SIT was formed only to malign the image of the TDP. He also said his party would seek a CBI inquiry into the nine-month-long rule of the YSRCP in the High Court soon as Supreme Court observed that economic offences were more dangerous than murders in the country.
