11 girls rescued, 8 pimps held in raid on brothel houses in Yadadri

Yadagirigutta, July 31 (Maxim News): On a tip-off, the Special Operations Team of the Rachakonda police, accompanied by Yadadri town police, ICDS officials and SHE team, raided brothel houses in Ganesh Nagar in Yadagirigutta village and rescued 11 minor girls. They also arrested eight pimps of Dommari caste.

The arrested were identified as Kamsani Kalyani, 25, Kamsani Anita, wife of Prashant, 30, Kamsani Susheela wife of Satyanarayana, 60, Kamsani Narasimha alias Babloo, 23, Kamsani Sruthi, daughter of Sreenu, 25, Kamsani Saritha, wife of Yadagiri, 50, Kamsani Vani, daughter of Yadagiri, 28, Kamsani Vamshi, 20, all residents of Ganesh Nagar, Yadagirigutta village and mandal of Yadadri-Bhongir village. Police said the rescued children were being sent to rescue home and action under PD Act will be initiated against others.

According to Yadadri-Bhongir district Deputy Commissioner of Police, the minor girls, most of whom are aged under 10, were procured from various places in the State and initiated into flesh trade by pimps Krishna Shankar and Kamsani Yadagiri by paying one Rs lakh to two lakhs for each girl. They also used to pick up orphan girls. The pimps also got the orphan girls injected with hormones for early maturity, rapid growth and development of physical features by one Dr Swamy who used to charge Rs 25,000 per girl.

Later, the traffickers keep the girls in brothel houses and look after their welfare until their teenage. Recently, the police invoked PD Act against Kamsani Yadagiri, Kamsani Sandhya, Kamsani Shashirekha, Kamsani Buchamma and Kamsani Nirmala. (Maxim News)
