Governor Seeks Report On The Suicide Of Group-2 Candidate Pravalika

Hyderabad, Oct 14 (Maxim News): Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan expressed shock over the suicide of Group-2 candidate Pravalika (23). The Governor directed the Chief Secretary, Director General of Police, and TSPSC Secretary to submit a report on the death of Pravalika within 48 hours.

Expressing her deepest condolences to the parents and family members of the deceased. On the other hand, the Governor said that the death of Pravalika once again reminds the youth of the challenges and pressures, they are facing while preparing for the competitive exams. She urged the unemployed not to despair and to boldly go ahead in the search for employment. She said that she would fully support the youth and stand by them in achieving their job goals.

Pravalika (23) from Bikkajipalli in Warangal district is staying in a hostel in Ashoknagar and is preparing for the Group-2 competitive exams. On Friday evening, she committed suicide by hanging herself on a fan when no one was in the hostel. The police who reached the place on the information given by fellow students tried to take the body to the hospital, but the candidates who had already reached the place in a big way blocked it. She said that she committed suicide because of the postponement of the exam. The dead body remained in the hostel till midnight. Around 1.30 pm, Pravalika’s body was taken to Gandhi Hospital in an ambulance by the police. From there, the body was finally moved to Prevalika’s native village today. After Pravalika’s death, the village of Bikkajipalli was saddened.
