KCR And His Wife Own No Land, But The Family Has 62 Acres

Hyderabad, Nov 9 (Maxim News): BRS National President and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) who claims that he belongs to a farmer’s family and agriculture is his profession, mentions in his affidavit that he has no cent land in his name.

It has been stated in the affidavit that there are no specific lands in the names of KCR and his wife Shobhamma. All the existing land was shown as joint property of the family. KCR’s family has 62 acres of land, there are 53.30 acres of cultivated land and 9.36 acres of nonagricultural land.

Filing the affidavit at the time of filing nomination for Gajwel and Kamareddy Assembly seats and declaring his assets, KCR stated that there is only Rs. 2.96 lakh cash. Cash deposited in banks in the name of KCr and his wife Shobhamma is Rs. 17 crore, there are nine bank accounts in the name of KCR and three accounts of Shobhamma. Bank deposits have doubled in the last five years. At the time of the 2018 elections, the total amount of fixed deposits and savings in banks was Rs. 5.63 crores, now it has increased by rs. 11.16 crores.

KCR’s wife Shobha had Rs. 94 thousand during the 2018 elections, and now it has reached Rs. 6.29 crores.  The latest affidavit reveals that gold jewelry is 2.8 kg but says it is valued at only Rs. 17 lakh. KCR has shown in the affidavit that there have been no dues to the government for the last ten years.

In the form of fixed assets Rs. 17.83 crores and KCR has Rs. 9.67 crores in the form of assets. His wife Shobha has assets worth Rs. 7.78 crores. There are movable assets of Rs. 9.81 crore as joint property. There is a debt of Rs. 17.27 crores in the name of KCR. There is a debt of Rs. 7.23 crores in the name of the family, KCR does not have his own car or bike. Instead, he has 14 vehicles like tractors, harvesters, JCB, etc. The value of these is Rs. 1.16 crores. (Maxim News)
