3400% Surge In Lakshadweep Searches After Modi’s Visit

Hyderabad, Jan 15 (Maxim News): After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Lakshadweep, We all know  the extent of the conflict between Maldives and India. While there are beautiful islands like Lakshadweep within the territory of India. Indians raised the slogan of Boycott Maldives,  questioning why they should go to Maldives.

Unveiling Lakshadweep’s Charm:

In this connection, everyone’s attention is on Lakshadweep, a Union Territory belonging to the country. How to reach there, the special features of Lakshadweep, the cost of travel etc, were searched by netizens on Google.

According to MakeMyTrip, searches for Lakshadweep have increased 3,600 times. Residents of Hyderabad also want to make a trip to Lakshadweep. 

Air, Land, Sea Options:

Now let’s know the details like how to reach that beautiful island and the cost. There is no direct transport route between Hyderabad and Lakshadweep. The area is surrounded by sea water.  There are various ways to reach there by flying from Hyderabad to Bangalore, then to Kochi and finally to Agatti island. Another flight connects to Kochi via Hyderabad and then to Agatti Island. Those who want to go by bus can go from Bhagyanagar to Mangalore and Kochi. From there you have to take a flight to Lakshadweep. Those who travel by train from Hyderabad to Mumbai and then to Kochim From  Kochi to Agatti Island by plane.  Permission is mandatory for Indians to enter the Island.

Permits & Paperwork:

The government says that this provision has been brought to protect the wild children living there.  The permit application can be processed on the e-permit portal. Required documents include a passport-size with a valid photocopy, ID proof (Aadhaar card, Voter ID, driving license etc.) Journey proof (flight tickets or boat reservation details) will confirm the booking from the selected accommodation.

Budgeting Your Lakshadweep Adventure:

According to the MakeMyTrip website, a Hyderabad resident needs to spend at least Rs. 7 thousand to reach Lakshadweep.  (Maxim News)
