Cyberabad Sports Event Begins: Residents Compete in 6th Annual Meet

Hyderabad, Feb 1 (Maxim News): The 6th Annual Sports and Games Meet – 2024 started grandly at the Police Parade Ground of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mahanty and zonal DCPs launched the program by flying balloons and pigeons. Earlier, the CP received the salute of police sportsmen from different zones.

Speaking on this occasion, the CP congratulated the staff who are participating in sports and games. All police personnel have been asked to participate in sports events without fail. Senior officers were also asked to participate in any event and make the sports meet a success. He said that sports help the policemen to get rid of the stress of their duties. Police said that sports help to maintain physical fitness. He said that sports improve mental stability along with health.

He said that although police personnel are always busy maintaining law and order, an annual sports meet is organized every year for their health and mental well-being. Telangana police personnel have received many prestigious awards. They want to come along with their families and cheer their teams for this 3-day sports and games meet. 

Cyberabad CAR Headquarters ADCP Shameer said that police sportsmen from different zones and wings are enthusiastically participating in these sports which will be held for three days till February 3. Police asked to participate in sports. They want to make exercise a part of daily life. More than 1000 police personnel will participate in these events, including more than 150 women staff.
