Dairy Industry Conference In Hyderabad Will Deliberate Plan For Future Dairy Development In Country From March 4 To 6

Hyderabad, Feb 23 (Maxim News): Keeping in view that India ranks number one in milk production and accounts for 26 percent of World Milk production giving employment and livelihood to nearly 80 million farmers and contributing 4 percent to the Indian GDP, the Indian Dairy Association (IDA) South Zone will be holding the Golden Jubilee edition of the Dairy Industry Conference (DIC) at hitex in Hyderabad from March 4 to 6  to deliberate and plan for future dairy development in the country.

Informing this to the press persons, Dr. Satish Kulkarni, Chairman IDA, South Zone, along with Dr. K.R. Rao, Vice Chairman, IDA, Ch. Rajeshwar Rao, Chairman IDA, Telangana, B.V..K. Reddy, Member, IDA, CEO, Dodla Dairy, and others said that along with the conference, there is a concurrent Dairy Expo wherein dairy machinery and products manufacturers are participating in large numbers in different halls showcasing their products and capabilities.  About 2500 delegates from all over India and from about 30 countries are participating in the event.  There will be about 60 technical and industrial presentations, 100 scientific posters, and farmers’ sessions with the participation of about 700 farmers also forming part of the event.

The theme of the conference is “Indian Dairying: Innovation & entrepreneurship”, about 20 presentations will be on the theme of the conference, interesting presentations related to the generation of potable water from the air, online cattle marketing, and carbon restoration in soil are likely to generate interest in Dairy professionals.

About 100 CEOs of different dairies, Secretaries from the Government of India and states, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, the National Dairy Development Board, National Dairy Research Institute are likely to participate in the conference. (Maxim News)
