Hyderabad, March 10 (Maxim News): The historic Gandipet canal in danger. If the government does not wake up, the drinking water canal is full of sand. This is the main canal that supplies drinking water from Gandipet reservoir to Bhagyanagar.

Gandipet Conduit (Gandipeta Kalva) was constructed to provide drinking water to Hyderabad during the Nizam government. But this canal has leakage in the Manikonda area and water is being wasted. As this situation continues for the past few months, the historical building has become completely wet. there was a danger of collapse at any moment. In Manikonda Garden, the Secretariat Colony area, this canal has huge leakages. While the drinking water problem is serious in the Manikonda area, on the other side, water is flowing into the roads through leakages. It left like this, the historical canal is in danger of collapsing.  (Maxim News)
