Popular News Reader Shanti Swaroop No More

Hyderabad, April 5 (Maxim News): Popular news reader Shanti Swaroop passed away. He was admitted to the hospital with a heart attack and breathed his last while undergoing treatment.  He had a heart attack two days ago.

The family members admitted him to Yashoda Hospital.  The doctors treated him. Unfortunately he passed away while undergoing treatment. 

Shanti Swaroop read the news in Telugu for the first time.  He left an indelible mark as the first Telugu news reader.  Moreover, for ten years he  used to look at the paper without a teleprompter.

Shanti Swaroop read news on doordarshan from November 1983.  He worked in doordarshan in 2011.  After that he retired.  Shanti Swaroop also received the Lifetime Achievement Award as news Reader.  (Maxim News)
