Kavitha Not Cooperate With CBI Investigation: Answer Deliberately To Mislead Says CBI Remand Report

Delhi/Hyderabad, April 15 (Maxim News):  BRS MLC Kavitha daughter of BRS Chief and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao who was arrested in the Delhi Liquor Scam case, is getting shock aftershocks.  CBI officials produced Kavitha in the Delhi Rouse Avenue Court after three days of custody ended today.

CBI asked the court to send her to judicial custody for 14 days.  In this order, the court allowed judicial custody for nine days i.e. till the 23rd of this month.  However, the CBI has mentioned several points in the remand application to give Kavitha custody for 14 days.  It stated that Kavitha did not cooperate with the investigation during the three days of CBI custody. 

She said that Kavitha was questioned about the matter of Rs. 14 crore taken from Sarath Chandra Reddy.  It was said that Kavitha gave answers to be deliberately misleading.  She said that she was also questioned about the meetings held with Magenta Srinivasulu Reddy, Gorantla  Buchibabu, Sarath Chandra Reddy, and Vijay Nair.  it has been revealed that she is misleading without giving correct answers to the questions asked.  She is a person of authority who can influence the trial and witnesses.  CBI said that there is a possibility of erasing the evidence related to the case.  CBI said that the digital devices and documents related to the case should be examined.  CBI has stated in the remand application that under these circumstances, she is requested to be judicially remanded for 14 days.  (Maxim News)
