The influx of voters returning to exercise their democratic rights has led to heavy traffic congestion on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway. The chaos began early on Saturday as people traveling in their vehicles jammed the roads, heading towards Rajamahendravaram and Visakhapatnam via Vijayawada. The traffic snarl has disrupted the flow of vehicles from the Hyderabad suburb of Hayathnagar to Abdullahpurmet, with long queues forming at Choutuppal and Pantagi toll stations.

As the weekend approaches and polling day draws near, it is expected that the traffic situation on the highway will only worsen. Authorities are urging commuters to plan their journeys accordingly and to take alternative routes if possible to avoid the congestion. (Maxim News)
