The ongoing competition reveals a neck-and-neck race between the BJP and Congress, with both parties leading in eight constituencies each.

Meanwhile, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-e-Muslimeen holds an edge in one seat. Notably, the BRS has yet to secure a majority in any rounds. It’s important to note that Telangana comprises 17 parliamentary constituencies.

The closely contested projections between the BJP and Congress signal a shift in the political dynamics of Telangana, traditionally dominated by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).

A total of 525 candidates are contesting for 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana, witnessing a three-cornered contest among ruling Congress and opposition BRS and BJP.

A total of 3,17,17,389 voters comprising 1,58,71,493 men, 1,58,43,339 women, and 2,557 third genders were eligible to vote in Telangana in all 17 Lok Sabha constituencies on May 13.
