Complete Gachibowli Flyover Works Expeditiously: GHMC Commissioner Amrapali Kata

Hyderabad, July 09: GHMC Commissioner Amrapali Kata has directed the authorities to speed up the completion of the Gachibowli flyover works. On Tuesday morning, GHMC Commissioner Amrapali toured the Srilingampally zone.

On this occasion, she inspected the flyover construction work being done at Gachibowli. It is suggested to speed up the acquisition of land for construction works and speed up the process of handing over the property to the owners in the form of TDR. He ordered to focus on any court cases in this regard. Later, Commissioner Amrapali inspected the vicinity of IIT Junction, Lingampally RUB and Majid Banda. Development of junctions and establishment of free lefts should be accelerated. He said that the authorities should coordinate with various departments to beautify the intersections so that there are no traffic problems. The commissioner suggested that necessary proposals should be made for new projects.

The authorities were directed to take steps to resolve the cases pending in the court in the works undertaken for the expansion of Masjid Banda to Gachibowli Road. Amrapali made it clear that beautification works in the IT area and road widening works should be done fast.

The Commissioner was accompanied by Zonal Commissioner Upender Reddy, SRDP CE Devanand, project department officials, and officials from other departments.
