Hyderabad, July 17: YFLO Hyderabad has launched Art Beyond Walls, a public art initiative that aims to bring museum quality Indian art into luxury hotels and public spaces across Hyderabad. The programme was inaugurated by Nandini Mallu, wife of Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, at Park Hyatt Hyderabad in the presence of FICCI FLO National President Puja Garg.
The initiative seeks to make contemporary Indian art accessible beyond museums and galleries by creating a citywide public art trail. YFLO plans to install six major artworks across Hyderabad’s leading luxury hotels in phases before expanding the programme to other public spaces.
The first installation features The Tree, a monumental stainless steel wire sculpture by National Lalit Kala Akademi Award recipient Dhananjay Singh. The artwork has been permanently installed at Park Hyatt Hyderabad and explores themes of growth, resilience, transformation and interconnectedness.
Speaking at the launch, Nandini Mallu said the initiative promotes artists, reconnects people with nature through creativity and enriches Hyderabad’s cultural landscape by making art accessible to everyone.
FLO National President Puja Garg described the project as the beginning of a cultural movement. She said the initiative has the potential to become a lasting legacy for Hyderabad while encouraging other cities to integrate art into public spaces.
The project has been conceptualised under the leadership of YFLO Hyderabad Chairperson Khushboo Daga as part of the Visual Arts Initiative promoted by FLO National. She said cities are remembered not only for their infrastructure but also for the culture they nurture, adding that the programme aims to create permanent artistic landmarks across Hyderabad.

Future phases will feature works by noted artists, including sculptor Phaneendra Nath Chaturvedi, with installations planned at ITC Kohenur and ITC Kakatiya. Renowned artist Thota Vaikuntam is also associated with upcoming installations.
The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with Sculpted India and Namtech Fine Art. It aims to increase public engagement with visual arts, support Indian artists and strengthen Hyderabad’s identity as a cultural destination.
