Lifted 85 Gates Of Medigadda Barrage: Water Released To Downstream

Hyderabad, July 10 (Maxim News): Due to heavy rains in the Godavari catchment area, flood water is coming to Medigadda Barrage in Kaleswaram Project, With this, the officials opened the 85 gates of the barrage and released waste downstream. Water is being released downstream from the barrage from the afternoon today.

While the inflow of Medigadda barrage is 41,500 cusecs, the outflow is also 41,500 cusecs, the authorities are leasing the water that has come into the barrage.  (Maxim News)
