BTech Seat Allotment Update: CSAB Special Rounds for Remaining Seats

BTech Seat Allotment | Hyderabad, July 18: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling for BTech admissions in IITs, NITs, and IIITs is nearing completion. The fifth and final round of seat allotment concluded on Wednesday.

Students who secured seats through JoSAA have until July 22nd to confirm or decline their admissions.

Following JoSAA, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will conduct special counselling rounds to fill the remaining seats in NITs, IIITs, and Central Government Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs).

Here’s a breakdown of the CSAB special counselling schedule:

  • Process Starts: July 26th, 2024
  • Seat Availability Details Released: July 29th, 2024
  • Seat Allotment Round 1: August 5th, 2024
  • Seat Allotment Round 2: August 10th, 2024

Hindi Medium BTech Now Available at IIT Jodhpur

In line with the National Education Policy, IIT Jodhpur has become the first IIT to offer BTech programs in Hindi medium starting this academic year.

This initiative aims to expand accessibility to higher technical education for students comfortable with Hindi as their primary language. Classes will be conducted with separate batches for students opting for English and Hindi mediums.
