Massive Fire In Jiyaguda Claims Life Of Young Girl, Injures Three

Hyderabad, July 24:(Maxim News): A devastating fire ripped through a furniture factory in Venkateshwara Nagar, Jiyaguda, Hyderabad early Tuesday morning. Tragically, one person lost their life, and three others sustained serious injuries.

The fire erupted on the ground floor of a residential building housing the furniture factory. Locals attempted to douse the flames, but the blaze quickly spread throughout the structure.

Kulsumpura Police and Firefighters Rescue Seven Families

Responding swiftly to the emergency, Kulsumpura police and firefighters arrived with four fire extinguishers. Using ladders, they safely evacuated seven families residing on the upper floors.

Four members of a single family were critically injured in the fire. Rushed to Osmania Hospital, 10-year-old Shivpriya succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment.  Srinivas (37), Madhavi (24), Lakshmi Bai (70), and Meghana (18) are all receiving treatment for burns, with three of them in critical condition.

Dhanunjay, the owner of the furniture factory, reportedly resides in Nampally and was absent from the scene due to a relative’s heart attack.
