High Court Gives 3-Month Time To Conduct BC Caste Census

Hyderabad, Sept 10 (Maxim News): The High Court has ordered the Telangana government to conduct the BC census within 3 months. It said that the census should be completed and the report submitted.

A petition was filed in the High Court in 2019 to conduct the BC census. BC Sangam leader Erra Satyanarayana filed this petition. The Chief Justice Bench once again took up the hearing on this petition. The petitioner stated that there are orders of the Supreme Court on BC caste enumeration.  The Advocate General told the court that the government was ready to implement it. With this, the court concluded the hearing on the petition by giving fresh orders.  (Maxim News)
