Telangana High Court Chief Justice Transferred

Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 8 (Maxim News): Justice Alok Aradhe was appointed as the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court in July last year. Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, who was the Chief Justice, was transferred as a judge of the Supreme Court. President Droupadi Murmu approved the recommendations of the Supreme Court Collegium to appoint Justice Alok Aradhe in his place. He served as a Judge of the Karnataka Court to take charge as the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court upon his promotion.

Born on April 13, 1964, in Raipur, Justice Alok entered the legal profession in 1988. He was appointed as an Additional Judge in the Madhya Pradesh High Court on December 29, 2009. He was promoted to the rank of Permanent Judge on February 15, 2011. In September 2016, he was transferred to the Jammu and Kashmir High Court, and in 2018, he was transferred as a judge of the Karnataka High Court. He was promoted to the Telangana High Court CJ from Karnataka. Now, the Supreme Court Collegium has recommended that he be appointed as the Bombay High Court CJ from the Telangana High Court.  (Maxim News)
