2500 Chickens Died In Poultry Farm In Lingampet

Sircilla/Hyderabad, Feb 20 (Maxim News): About 2500 chickens died in a poultry farm in Lingampet of Chandurthi mandal.

Though the incident took place one week ago, it came to light on Thursday.  So far, 2500 chickens have died on this farm alone, according to locals.  Earlier, another 1000 chickens also died, it is learned. 

As a large number of chickens have died, local people are apprehensive of the reasons, with some suspecting bird flu.  However, officials have not confirmed this. (Maxim News)
