Sub-Plan Funds Were Not Spent During 10 Years Of BRS Rule: Bhatti Vikramarka

Palavancha/Hyderabad, May 31 (Maxim News): Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that the Congress government are spending sub-plan funds without fail. We have allocated Rs. 17,169 crores for tribals under the sub-plan, and we have carried forward Rs. 1,296 crores of funds that were not spent in the past.

Addressing to the Telangana Adivasi Congress workers in Palavancha, today, the Deputy CM said that self respect and an equal society are possible only under the auspices of the Congress government. We have introduced schemes accordingly. We are providing welfare schemes to every household. We will soon distribute complete details to every household about which schemes are being provided to which households and how much the government is spending.

We have identified the needs of the tribals, brought together leaders from those communities, and organized a training program to be implemented through the AICC. We raised protests while assigning lands in the name of Dharani. We came to power saying that we will place Dharani in the Bay of Bengal. We brought the Bhu Bharati Act.

A thousand crores of funds allocated specifically for tribals in the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Self-Employment Scheme. This is a record in the history of the country. We have brought Indira Solar Tribal Development to enable the children of the forest to live with self-respect. We will bring 6.70 lakh acres under cultivation at a cost of Rs 12,500 crore.
