Hyderabad Fire Accident: Factory Fire, Fridge Blast Reported Hours Apart
Hyderabad Fire Accident | Hyderabad, July 3: Telangana witnessed a string of fire-related incidents on Thursday, raising serious concerns about safety protocols in both industrial and residential areas.
A massive fire broke out in the early hours at the Tirupati Rubber Company located in Katedan Industrial Area. The fire started around 4 a.m. and spread rapidly due to large quantities of rubber materials stored at the site, producing thick black smoke that engulfed the area.
Fire tenders were immediately deployed, and efforts are ongoing to bring the flames under control. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported, though significant property damage is expected. Preliminary reports suggest a short circuit may have triggered the blaze, but officials have yet to confirm the exact cause.

Meanwhile, another incident was reported from Rajarajeshwari Nagar in Sanathnagar, falling under the SR Nagar Police Station, where a fridge explosion in a residence caused panic among locals. Though the explosion was confined to a single household, it once again highlighted the need for strict adherence to safety standards, even in domestic settings. No injuries were reported in the incident.
These incidents come just four days after a devastating explosion at the Sigachi factory in Pashamilaram industrial estate, Patancheru, which left the city on edge. The back-to-back fire and explosion cases are raising alarm over infrastructure safety and compliance enforcement across Telangana.
Authorities responded quickly to all incidents, and investigations are underway to determine the causes and prevent future occurrences.
