Modi said in his speech, ‘GST reforms are being implemented from tomorrow. With GST reforms, a lot of income will be saved for the poor and middle class people. With GST reforms, everyone in the country is benefiting. India’s growth rate is increasing further under GST reforms.

The GST phase started in 2017. Earlier, there were many types of taxes. If you wanted to go from one state to another, you had to pay taxes. Earlier, it was very difficult to sell goods in Bangalore to Hyderabad. Earlier, companies used to face problems with tolls and taxes. That impact was felt by consumers.

After winning in 2024, we gave priority to GST. We spoke to all sections with GST reforms. We realized the dream of One Nation – One Tax. The country will become stronger with GST reforms. We have given exemption from income tax upto Rs. 12 lakh.

These measures have brought a lot of change in the lives of the middle class. Reforms are coming in all sectors. With the new GST, the prices of goods will come down further. There will be complete exemption in some. With the new GST, a double bonanza for the poor middle class people.

We are moving forward with the slogan of ‘Nagarika Devobhavana’ . We are taking steps towards a self reliant India. The cost of TV, refrigerator and house construction will come down, he said. (Maxim News)
