Hyderabad, Oct 22 (Maxim News): The Enforcement Directorate has begun an inquiry in the Srushti Fertility case and is questioning the accused inside Chanchalguda jail with permission from the court.
The officials are recording statements of Dr. Namrata, Kalyani, Nandini, Santoshi, and Jayant Krishna as part of the ongoing probe.
Therefore, the agency has scheduled custodial questioning in the prison premises through this week.
According to the case history provided in the input, the matter was first registered at Gopalapuram Police Station. Later, a Special Investigation Team was formed to take the probe forward. Then, the enforcement agency also stepped in to examine alleged financial irregularities.
Meanwhile, officials identified that the accused had amassed significant assets. They carried out searches at multiple locations and seized key documents. The ED obtained the court’s approval to interrogate the accused in jail due to their current judicial custody in Chanchalguda. Notices were issued on Tuesday, and officials began questioning from today.
The inquiry in the prison will continue until October 28 as per the permission granted. Also, the team will confront the accused with seized material and transaction records to trace money flows. Officials stated that during searches they found substantial assets in the names of the accused. They also secured important papers that are relevant to the case.
Therefore, the present round of questioning will focus on source of funds, layering, and the role of each individual in the alleged transactions. Later, investigators may seek further custodial time if new leads emerge from the statements.
The case has moved through distinct stages, from the initial FIR to SIT inquiry and now the ED’s financial probe. Then, with court-backed access in jail, the enforcement team aims to consolidate evidence before the next legal steps.
Further actions will depend on what the questioning yields and how the seized documents corroborate alleged financial activities in the Srushti Fertility affair. (Maxim News)
