Bandi Sanjay Warning To Congress On Dues And Student Welfare

  • Union Minister accuses Congress government of neglecting students’ welfare
  • Demands immediate payment of fee reimbursement and Arogyasri dues

Hyderabad, Oct 22 (Maxim News): Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar issued a strong warning to the Congress government in Telangana, accusing it of mismanaging funds and ignoring the state’s commitments. He criticized the administration over delays in paying pending dues, alleging that when stakeholders demand legitimate payments, the government labels them as acts of blackmail.

Speaking sharply on the issue, the minister said, “If you ask for the dues, will you blackmail them with vigilance raids? Will you play with the future of students and management? Are you not paying the dues on the pretext of not getting commissions?” He further questioned whether the government was diverting funds elsewhere, saying, “Are they sending money for the Bihar elections from here? Can’t they pay the dues for the future of students?”

Bandi Sanjay focused his criticism on the alleged failure to release students’ fee reimbursement and Arogyasri health scheme dues. He demanded their immediate payment, warning that the government would face “serious consequences” if it continued the delay. He said the Congress administration was “messing with the future of students” and breaking promises made on the floor of the Assembly.

He alleged that ministers and senior officials were collecting commissions for various works while avoiding responsibilities to students and hospitals. He also warned educational institutions and managements not to yield to pressure or fear from the government, asserting that no one would support them in the future if they failed to stand firm.

Meanwhile, Bandi Sanjay visited Nallakunta Shankar Math in Hyderabad earlier in the day, where he performed special prayers and later received blessings from Sringeri Peetadhipathi Sri Sri Sri Vidusekhara Bharathi Swamy. His statements have added to the growing political friction in Telangana, as tensions between the BJP and Congress continue to intensify over financial governance and welfare policies.
