Telangana Road Projects | Hyderabad, Nov. 8: Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy announced that the state government has approved road construction projects worth ₹60,799 crore, marking a record in the state’s history.

He thanked Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for approving the funds and granting permissions for the massive infrastructure programme.

Record Road Development to Boost Telangana Growth

Komatireddy said the projects would transform Telangana into a key hub for multinational companies by improving connectivity and infrastructure.

He added that the new roads would attract lakhs of crores in investments and create large-scale employment for rural youth.

The minister detailed several major projects, including ₹10,400 crore for expanding the Hyderabad–Vijayawada Highway into eight lanes and ₹36,000 crore for the Regional Ring Road (RRR) project, which he said would reshape the state’s connectivity.

Additionally, ₹11,399 crore has been allocated for the HAM road projects, with tenders to be issued soon.

He also announced plans for new rural roads where none currently exist, and upgrades from single to double roads in many areas.

Another ₹8,000 crore will be spent on a 52-kilometre elevated corridor between Mannanur and Srisailam.

Komatireddy revealed that a Greenfield Highway connecting the upcoming Future City through Amaravati to Bandar Port will be built at a cost of ₹20,000 crore.

“This project will redefine Telangana’s infrastructure landscape,” he said.

He expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and people of Nalgonda constituency for supporting the projects.

“The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister are personally reviewing the progress every 15 days,” he added, calling it a milestone in his political career.
