Jaish-e-Mohammed Fund Collection For Planned India Suicide Attack

  • Jaish-e-Mohammed Raises Donations Digitally for New Suicide Attack in India
  • NIA Investigates Dr. Shaheen Saeed’s Role in Financing Red Fort Blast

Hyderabad: The banned terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) is reportedly preparing for another suicide attack in India, similar to the recent Delhi Red Fort car bomb blast, according to sources linked to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The terror outfit is actively raising funds in Pakistan through digital means, including a Pakistani app called SadaPay. The funds collected, about 20,000 Pakistani rupees (equivalent to Rs 6,400), are reportedly intended for the terrorist cadres’ operational expenses, including winter survival kits, such as shoes, coats, and woollen socks.

Investigations into the Red Fort blast have revealed that JeM is organizing a ‘fidayeen’ squad, possibly including female operatives. The group’s women’s wing, led by Masood Azhar’s sister Sadiya, is believed to be involved. Dr. Shaheen Saeed, codenamed “Madam Surgeon” and a member of this women’s unit called Jamat ul-Muminat, is suspected by NIA officials of financing the recent attack. She was also arrested in connection with an illegal explosives case in Faridabad and is linked to the terror module that carried out the Red Fort blast.

The blast near the Red Fort on November 10 killed 13 people and was carried out by a suicide bomber driving a Hyundai i20 laden with explosives. The NIA suspects Jaish’s terror doctor group, which includes radicalized medical professionals, is central to the attack and its funding network. Authorities are also classifying those who provide material support like winter kits to terrorists as jihadis.

Meanwhile, the NIA and other agencies continue their probe into the digital funding trail and the involvement of several doctors in the transnational terror module. This includes Dr. Shaheen Saeed’s potential financial support, confirming the group’s persistent efforts to carry out terror attacks across India. The investigation intensifies as authorities uncover deeper funding channels and operational planning by JeM.
