Jangaon/Hyderabad, Jan 13 (Maxim News): Jangaon MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy has warned that the district will become a fire pit if the Jangaon district is abolished in the name of district reorganization.
Speaking to the media in Jangaon on Monday, he was furious that MLAs Nayuni Rajender Reddy and Kadiyam Srihari are talking about merging the six districts of the joint district and re-forming it as Warangal district. He said that the people here will not be silent if the Jangaon district, which they fought for, is abolished.
He expressed his anger that the Congress had mentioned in its election manifesto that the district would be named after Sarvai Papanna, and now they are trying to do away with the district altogether. They recalled that Kadiyam Srihari had opposed Jangaon district from the beginning. He said that if they want to close Jangaon district, the government itself will close. They want Jangaon district to be removed from the Warangal Commissionerate and a separate SP to be assigned. (Maxim News)
