According to police officials, the private bus overturns incident left 10 passengers with minor injuries. Two others suffered serious injuries. Officials said the injuries were reportedly caused due to brake failure while the bus was negotiating a curve. Soon after the accident, local authorities and emergency teams reached the spot and shifted the injured passengers to a hospital in Sathupalli for treatment.

At the time of the accident, as many as 43 passengers were travelling on the bus. The bus belonged to KVR Travellers and was heading to Rajahmundry from Hyderabad. Initial reports stated that the bus was allegedly registered in Arunachal Pradesh. Police began an inquiry to verify the details related to the vehicle registration and the circumstances that led to the accident.

Meanwhile, the incident raised serious concerns over road safety and regulatory enforcement. It was alleged that officials of the Regional Transport Authority showed negligence in preventing vehicles registered in other states from operating passenger services. According to the allegations, such vehicles were carrying passengers in violation of existing norms and road safety rules. Therefore, the accident once again brought attention to enforcement gaps in monitoring private transport services.

Passengers who were on board demanded stern action against illegal service operators. They expressed concern over safety standards and compliance with transport regulations. The private bus overturns case also highlighted the risks faced by passengers due to alleged lapses in checks and inspections. Authorities have not yet released further details, and investigations are ongoing to determine responsibility.
