Harish Rao Demanded Congress Govt To Apologize Unemployed

Hyderabad, Aug 8 (Maxim News): BRS MLA and former minister Harish Rao expressed his anger over the insulting of unemployed people who came to fill driver posts in Hydra. He demanded that the state government apologize to the unemployed. Responding on social media, he said, “Why is the government so hostile to students and the unemployed?” He said, recalling that they had promised to fill two lakh jobs in the first year of coming to power, he lamented that the promise given has not been kept even after 32 months.

“Why is your government so hostile to students and unemployed people, Revanth Reddy? During the elections for power, you targeted students and unemployed people. You promised to provide jobs. Now, when the same unemployed people come on the roads looking for jobs, will you treat them so harshly? When you gave a notification for filling only 150 driver posts in Hydra, thousands of unemployed people came to apply. Is this the fault of the unemployed? Or is it the fault of your government that has failed to provide jobs? When you see the Chief Minister insulting engineering students as ‘criminal waste’ and the officials abusing the unemployed who came for jobs, the saying ‘Yatha Raja.. Tatha officials’ comes to mind. It is even more painful to hear such words coming from the mouths of officials. If the officials who should treat the youth who came for jobs with respect insult them, then who is this government working for? They promised to fill two lakh jobs in the first year of coming to power. It has been 32 months, what happened to that promise?” he asked.

‘If two lakh jobs had really been filled.. would thousands of unemployed people have to stand in queues like this today for 150 driver posts? Your promise of two lakh jobs is bogus. Your job calendar is bogus. The promises you gave to the unemployed are bogus. The disappointment among the youth waiting for jobs under your rule is growing. Since notifications are not received properly, even the youth who have studied higher education like PG and PhD have to compete for small posts. This is yet another proof of the government’s failure. The government that should provide jobs.. is not providing jobs. The Chief Minister who should provide assurance is making inappropriate comments about the students. Revanth Reddy.. the unemployed are not asking for pity on you. They are asking you to implement the promises you have given. Asking for a job is not a crime. Questioning is not a crime. Detaining the government is not a crime. A government that cannot provide jobs should at least learn to respect the unemployed who have come for jobs. Disciplinary action should be taken immediately against the officials who spoke inappropriately and rudely about the unemployed who have come for jobs. “The government should apologize to the student and unemployed world for insulting them,” Harish Rao posted on X.
