Islamabad/Internet/Hyderabad, Jan 20 (Maxim News): Pakistan was established in the name of Islam, but the goal for which the country was established will soon be fulfilled, said Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir. He made the comments in an interview with a newspaper in Lahore on Sunday. He attended the reception of former Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s nephew Junaid Safdar. He said that Allah has provided a historic opportunity for the establishment of Pakistan, and the country is moving rapidly in that direction for which it was established.
Munir said that Pakistan was created in the name of Islam and now Pakistan has a special identity in Islamic countries. He said that Pakistan’s importance will also increase soon. Munir said that Pakistan’s situation has gradually improved. He said that Pakistan’s economic situation has strengthened and Pakistan’s rank has also improved worldwide. Pakistan is getting international recognition, and if it is praised individually, it will be considered a blessing from Allah, but in fact, Pakistan is getting recognition, not for one person, he said.
It is known that Asim Munir has made some controversial comments recently. He said that the foundation for the formation of Pakistan was laid with the Two Nation Theory. He said that there are fundamental differences between Muslims and Hindus, that Indo-Pak is not one, but different countries, and that it was the foundation for the formation of Pakistan, and that it is important to take that ideology to future generations.(Maxim News)
