Auto Driver Strangled To Death In Bhavani Nagar, Wife In Custody

Hyderabad, Feb 18 (Maxim News): A 35-year-old auto driver was strangled to death allegedly by his wife at their house in Bhavani Nagar on Tuesday night.

Police said the victim, identified as Mohammed Ishaq, was found dead at his house around 8 pm and preliminary investigation suggests that he was strangled with a dupatta while he was asleep.

ing to family members, Ishaq and his wife, Noor Jahan Begum, had frequent disputes, reportedly over his alcohol consumption.

Police suspect that the murder took place following an ongoing domestic dispute between the couple.

The Bhavani Nagar police have booked a case and Noor Jahan Begum has been taken into custody for questioning. Further investigation is on. (Maxim News)
