SSC Exams Telangana Begin, Entry Rules Announced

Hyderabad: SSC exams Telangana began across the state with authorities putting strict rules in place for smooth conduct. The examinations will be held from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Meanwhile, the SSC Board asked students to reach centres at least 30 minutes early.

Officials said the examinations will continue until April 16. A total of 5,28,239 students will appear for the exams across Telangana. Among them, 2,60,916 are boys and 2,56,811 are girls. Authorities made arrangements at 2,676 centres.

The School Education Department said it completed all arrangements. Therefore, students can write exams without fear or confusion. Also, officials deployed 144 flying squads. These teams will monitor centres and prevent malpractice during the examinations.

Meanwhile, authorities clarified entry rules. Officials said they will allow students even if they arrive five minutes late. However, they advised students not to delay. Earlier, the board had asked students to report well before the exam time to avoid last minute issues.

Telangana SSC Exam Schedule:

The SSC exams Telangana schedule started on March 14, 2026 with First Language Group A papers. These include First Language Part I and Part II. Later, the Second Language exam will be held on March 18. Then, the Third Language English paper is scheduled on March 23.

After that, the Mathematics exam will take place on March 28. The Science Part I Physical Science exam is scheduled on April 2. Also, Science Part II Biological Science will be conducted on April 7. The Social Studies exam will be held on April 13.

Meanwhile, OSSC Main Language Paper I Sanskrit and Arabic and SSC Vocational Course Theory exam will be conducted on April 15. The OSSC Main Language Paper II Sanskrit and Arabic exam will be held on April 16.

Officials reiterated that all measures are in place. They said the focus remains on fair exams. They also stressed strict monitoring at all centres across the state.
