Hyderabad, April 13 (Maxim News): Minister Ponnam Prabhakar responded to the Telangana RTC workers’ strike. He said that the government has formed a committee on two issues. He said that a decision will be taken in accordance with the workers’ wishes after receiving complete details from the committee. He said that a committee has been formed on the issue of RTC merger and union. He made it clear that they are ready to clear the remaining issues. Minister Ponnam appealed to the RTC workers to think and not to be in a hurry.
RTC workers preparing for strike.. They have decided to hold talks with the Labor Commissioner at 4 pm today. The JAC has called for RTC workers to reach the Labor Commissioner’s office in large numbers. The strike date is likely to be announced after the talks. It is reported that the RTC workers are planning to go on strike from the 20th of this month if the government does not respond to their demands. It is known that the RTC JAC gave a strike notice to the management on March 13.(Maxim News)
