Hyderabad, April 16: The Special Investigation Team probing the Moinabad drugs case has found an international link. The case involves Pilot Rohit Reddy and associates. Investigators traced a financial trail connected to a death in Dubai.
The SIT linked the network to Kedar, who died in 2025 from a suspected overdose. Police said Rohit Reddy, his brother Ritesh Reddy, and Namith Sharma had links with him. The development has widened the scope of the probe.
Officials found a key transaction of Rs 25 lakh from Ritesh Reddy to Kedar. This payment is part of a larger financial network under scrutiny. Investigators suspect funds were used to organise drug parties.

The media told a local court about multiple suspicious transactions. These involved individuals identified as organisers or participants. Names cited include Shirish, Kaushik Ravi, and Arjun Reddy.
Based on these findings, the SIT sought extended custody of the accused. The agency said further questioning is needed to trace the full network. The probe is ongoing.
Police also found that several people paid money to organisers. These payments were allegedly routed through different channels. Therefore, officials are examining financial records in detail.
Kedar had previous links to drug cases. He was booked by Gachibowli police in February 2024. The case followed a raid at a hotel.
The investigation is now focusing on both local and international connections. Authorities are working to identify all those involved in the network.
