Washington/Internet/Hyderabad, April 26 (Maxim News): The second round of efforts being made by Pakistan to reduce tensions between the US and Iran and establish peace have also failed. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s efforts to bring representatives of the two countries on the same page in Islamabad have not yielded the desired results. US President Donald Trump has made a sensational statement that there will be no talks with Iran. Trump made this statement after the shooting targeting the White House Correspondents’ Meeting.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has been holding talks with the Pakistani leadership to end the war, but has refused to meet directly with the US delegation. He made it clear that their main condition is the lifting of the naval blockade imposed by the US Navy. Trump expressed his anger over this. US President Donald Trump canceled a visit to Pakistan by his representatives Steve Whitlock and Jared Kushner due to the lack of progress in the talks.
Trump criticized the entire 18-hour trip as a waste and the lack of clarity in the Iranian leadership. He suggested that Iran should contact them if it wants to hold talks. Meanwhile, the first round of talks between the US and Iran in Islamabad, mediated by Pakistan, to end the war in West Asia, have already failed. Now, Pakistan’s efforts for the second round of talks have failed with Trump’s announcement. (Maxim News)
