Hyderabad, May 6: Revanth orders no traffic disruption during visits as Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy directed police to avoid public inconvenience during his official movements.
The Chief Minister instructed DGP CV Anand to ensure that traffic does not halt for long durations. He also warned officials against stopping commuters for convoy clearance. Moreover, he stressed that people should not face delays due to VIP movement.
Revanth expressed concern after a recent traffic jam near the airport during his Delhi visit. Therefore, he issued clear instructions to prevent such situations in the future. He also asked officials not to block vehicles coming from the opposite direction.

Following the directive, DGP CV Anand held a video conference with police commissioners. He issued fresh guidelines to manage traffic during VIP convoys. In addition, he announced plans to set up a Traffic Bureau to streamline operations.
Officials will now allow vehicles to move in a single line instead of stopping traffic fully. Meanwhile, police will prepare alternative routes in advance, especially during peak hours. This step aims to reduce congestion and improve flow.
The DGP also asked officers to remain alert near airport zones. He directed teams to prevent waterlogging issues before the rainy season. Furthermore, he instructed traffic staff to take quick decisions on the ground.
Authorities will also focus on curbing illegal parking on the Outer Ring Road. In addition, coordination with civic departments will improve traffic management. Law and order teams will also assist in traffic control when required.
The move aims to balance security needs with public convenience. Officials stated that strict action will follow if any lapses occur.
