Hyderabad, May 20 (Maxim News): The Department of Heritage Telangana and Department of Tourism Telangana have invited applications for the Tourist Guide Program 2026 across Telangana.
The programme aims to recruit and train tourist guides for archaeological, historical and heritage tourist destinations located across all 33 districts of the state.
Officials said graduates with strong communication skills and interest in archaeology, history, heritage, culture, art, architecture and tourism are encouraged to apply.
The selected candidates are expected to assist tourists at important heritage and tourism locations while promoting Telangana’s historical and cultural legacy.
Applications Open Across Telangana
According to officials, eligible candidates from all districts of Telangana can submit their applications online through the official Google form released by the department.
Applicants have been advised to carefully fill in the application form and upload all required documents during submission.
The initiative is aimed at improving tourist experiences and creating employment opportunities for youth interested in the tourism and heritage sectors.
