Hyderabad, May 27 (Maxim News) : A case has reportedly been registered against Balka Suman at Nampally Police Station over his controversial remarks calling for “militant style” protests in Telangana.
According to reports, Hyderabad Congress leaders lodged a complaint after Balka Suman made the remarks during a press meet held on Tuesday. Following the complaint, police reportedly booked a case and began examining the statements made by the former MP.
Balka Suman allegedly said a militant movement should emerge in Telangana and that BRS workers should function like militants while protesting against the Congress government. The remarks quickly triggered political controversy across the state.
Balka Suman Remarks Spark Political Row
Meanwhile, another video of Balka Suman speaking at a BRS cadre meeting also went viral on social media. In the video, he allegedly claimed that farmers were not participating in protests against the Congress government and that party workers should intensify their agitation.
He allegedly made remarks referring to attacks on government properties, railway tracks, and offices. The comments drew strong reactions from political leaders and social media users.
Several netizens condemned the remarks and demanded strict action against those making provocative statements. At the same time, Congress leaders accused the opposition Bharat Rashtra Samithi of encouraging unrest through inflammatory speeches.
Police officials have not yet released complete details about the sections included in the case. However, reports indicate that an investigation into the matter is underway.
