Hyderabad Traffic Diversions Announced for H CITI Works

Hyderabad Traffic Diversions  | Hyderabad, June 8 : The Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced major traffic diversions around Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills due to the ongoing construction of a steel flyover and underpass under the Hyderabad City Innovative and Transformative Infrastructure (H CITI) project.

The diversions will affect key stretches between Mugdha Junction, KBR Park Entrance (Gate No. 1), and Jubilee Hills Check Post. Officials expect moderate traffic congestion in the area and have advised commuters to use alternative routes and plan their journeys in advance.

Motorists travelling from NFCL towards Sagar Society, KBR Park Entrance, Jubilee Hills Check Post, Road No. 36, Road No. 45, and the Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge will be diverted at SNT Junction and Sagar Society. Vehicles will move through Srinagar Colony Main Road, Indiranagar Labour Adda, Road No. 5, Jubilee Hills, and Venkatagiri Crossroads before reaching Jubilee Hills Check Post.

Traffic moving from KCP and Road No. 1, Banjara Hills, towards KBR Park, Jubilee Hills Check Post, and Road No. 36 will be diverted at Taj Krishna. Vehicles will pass through Road No. 10, City Centre Junction, Zahira Nagar, Cancer Hospital, Agrasen Circle, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, and Road No. 45.

Similarly, traffic coming from Masab Tank towards KBR Park and Jubilee Hills Check Post will be diverted at Road No. 1/12, Banjara Hills. Vehicles will proceed through Agrasen Circle and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan before reaching Road No. 45.

Hyderabad Traffic Diversions  | Alternate Routes Announced for Key Corridors

Vehicles travelling from Road Nos. 36 and 45 in Jubilee Hills towards NFCL will be diverted at Jubilee Hills Check Post. The route will pass through Venkatagiri, Road No. 2, Yousufguda Basti, Yousufguda Check Post, Maitrivanam, Ameerpet, Indiranagar Labour Adda, Srinagar Colony, and Panjagutta.

Traffic from Begumpet towards NFCL will be diverted through Road Nos. 1/4 and 1/7 in Banjara Hills, Taj Krishna, City Centre Junction, Zahira Nagar, Cancer Hospital, Agrasen Circle, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Road No. 45, and Jubilee Hills Check Post.

Police have also advised commuters not to use the Punjagutta Flyover while travelling towards NFCL and Road No. 10, Banjara Hills. Instead, motorists should use the service road near Kakatiya Hotel and proceed through Punjagutta Junction.

The Hyderabad Traffic Police have urged residents to avoid peak traffic hours between 8:30 am and 11:00 am and between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm wherever possible. Commuters should follow traffic personnel on duty, obey signboards, use navigation applications for real-time updates, and opt for public transport or carpooling to reduce congestion.

Heavy vehicles have been advised to avoid the affected stretches during peak hours.
