Telangana DGP transfers | Hyderabad, June 29 (Maxim News): The Telangana government on Monday transferred 36 Deputy Superintendents of Police and Assistant Commissioners of Police in a major administrative reshuffle across the state. The orders took effect immediately after the Police Establishment Board recommended the transfers.
Director General of Police C.V. Anand issued the transfer orders. The exercise mainly provided postings to 28 Civil DSPs who had remained in the waiting list for the past several months.
The officers will now serve in vacant posts across district police units and specialised wings. Moreover, the transfers aim to improve administration and strengthen policing.

The reshuffle covers Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Ramagundam, Khammam, Karimnagar, Siddipet, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Kamareddy and Rajanna Sircilla. In addition, several other districts received new officers.
Many officers joined specialised wings. These include the CID, Intelligence, Anti Corruption Bureau, Vigilance and Enforcement, Crime Branch, District Crime Records Bureau and Task Force. Likewise, several officers took charge as ACPs in city police units and Special Branch offices.
According to the transfer orders, P. Srisailam became ACP, CCS, Nizamabad. Sankella Venkatesh joined the CID. Kampa Ravinder became ACP, CCS, Ramagundam. C. Vijay Raju joined PCS&S at the Chief Office.
Similarly, G. Venkateswarlu moved to the Special Branch in Rajanna Sircilla. Bobbala Praveen and M. Venkat Reddy joined the Intelligence wing. G. Mahender Reddy and M. Rajesh joined the Anti Corruption Bureau.
Meanwhile, B. Balaji, R. Narender, and Bolagani Srinivasa Rao joined Task Force units. Sarla Raju became ACP, CCS and Detective Department, Hyderabad City. K. Purushotham joined the Special Branch in Cyberabad.
Furthermore, Thoticharla Swamy, T. Praveen Kumar, B. Gurunayudu, Gaddam Sadaiah alias Sadan Kumar, and several others received postings in Crime Branch and functional vertical units across the state.
The latest reshuffle is one of the biggest police transfer exercises in recent months. As a result, the government expects faster administration and better coordination across police departments.
