Hyderabad, July 11: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has introduced an online facility enabling eligible voters in Telangana to submit their Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Enumeration Forms without waiting for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to deliver physical forms.
The initiative is aimed at making the electoral roll revision process faster, more convenient and accessible for voters across the State.
Eligible electors can now fill and submit their enumeration forms through the ECI’s official voter services portal.
The online facility allows voters to complete the process from home, reducing dependence on physical form distribution by BLOs.
Voters can submit the form by following these steps:
- Visit the ECI Voter Services Portal.
- Log in using the registered mobile number or EPIC (Voter ID) number.
- Verify identity using the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to the registered mobile number.
- Select the “Fill Enumeration Form” option.
- Enter the required details.
- Complete the e-sign process using the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
- Submit the form successfully.
According to the ECI, the online facility is available for electors whose names in the electoral roll match the details available in their Aadhaar records.
Only voters with registered mobile numbers linked to their voter records can authenticate themselves through the OTP-based system.
ECI Urges Eligible Voters to Use the Facility
The Election Commission has appealed to all eligible voters with registered mobile numbers to make use of the online facility for quicker submission of their enumeration forms.
The online system is expected to simplify the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise and help ensure that eligible citizens are included in the updated electoral rolls.
