Hyderabad, July 11: Charminar Police recovered 30 lost and stolen mobile phones using the CEIR portal and advanced technical investigation.
The devices were handed over to owners on 11 July 2026 at Charminar Police Station. ACP P Chandra Shekar presided over the handover ceremony.
The phones belonged to citizens who lost them under different circumstances in the area. Police acted swiftly after receiving complaints and used the CEIR portal to trace the devices. Continuous technical follow up helped locate phones in various locations.
The Charminar PS Detective Team, led by DSI G Sateesh Reddy, executed the operation with the Crime Team. Inspector T Ram Babu, Detective Inspector K Narsing Rathod and ACP P Chandra Shekar supervised the effort.
Police advised the public to report lost or stolen phones immediately at the nearest station. They also urged citizens to log details directly on the CEIR portal for quick tracing, blocking and recovery.
